Job Description

Description of Service Opportunity:

The CRLS AVID Program Facilitator will coordinate all aspects of the AVID Program at CRLS including selecting students hiring tutors planning curriculum. The AVID Program Facilitator:

conducts informational sessions and dinners for parents;
facilitates the Site Team meetings and assembles the agenda;
organizes AVID field trips and guest speakers;
teachers an AVID course as well as other contentarea classes;
coordinates evening and/or summer events and training as needed.

The Program Facilitator is the instructional leader of the program for students tutors and other teachers and acts as program liaison with Principals Deans Counselors and faculty. The AVID Program Facilitator reports directly to the CRLS Principal and will work closely with the Learning Community Deans.

The AVID Program Facilitator will receive a stipend in the amount of $3215 to be distributed in two equal installments in December and June.

MinimumRequirements:

CRLS faculty member trained in AVID methods and curriculum.

Length of Contract:

September 1 2024 through June 30 2025

Contract Amount:

Flat Rate $3215.00
