Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Install service troubleshoot repair calibrate replace and perform maintenance and inspection on environmental control systems and equipment. Operate and maintain boilers and auxiliary equipment such as air compressors generators and related equipment. Perform unplanned and preventative maintenance tasks. Operate and maintain all environmental control equipment. RTUs AHUs Exhaust Fans AC units Medrefrigerators freezers etc. Performs daily rounding in all critical facility spaces. Works within the CMS Maintenance ticketing system. (i.e. replacing ceiling tiles assists with departmental moves groundskeeping etc. Performs weekly monthly and annual preventative maintenance tasks to be compliant with local state and federal regulations. (i.e. generator testing inspecting fire life safety equipment medical gas checks)
EDUCATION:
- High school graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- 23 years in air conditioning and refrigeration systems installation and repair.
- Experience in a medical setting or with medical equipment is preferred
- 1 year experience with cryogenic refrigeration systems preferred
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
- A valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for workrelated reasons
- A current Montana Low Pressure Boiler Operators license is preferred
- EPA universal refrigerant handling license preferred
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Current working knowledge of heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Proficient in record keeping data analysis and computerized maintenance management systems.
- Must be familiar with the use of basic HVAC hand tools.
- Ability to work with a variety of equipment analyze and solve complex problems
