Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement DoD and local SSO security requirements specifically Security Technical Implementation Guides of network equipment while maintaining system efficiency maintainability and supportability.
- Install configure and troubleshoot routing and switching equipment specifically Cisco appliances.
- Monitor overall network performance through tools such as SolarWinds and provide immediate troubleshooting support and network improvements as necessary.
- Provide customer service support as required utilizing Remedy for incident response change requests and historical tracking.
- Experience with configuring troubleshooting and maintaining F5 Load Balancers preferred
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 24 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility Clearance required.
- DoD 8570 Level II or III compliant certification required.
- CCNA Certification
Overview
We are seeking a Network Engineer to support the DTRA ITSS II contract at Fort Belvoir.
The DTRA IT Infrastructure supports approximately 5000 users using distributed operations between the National Capital Region (NCR) and DTRA Albuquerque NM and supporting facilities on Fort Belvoir VA as well as sites in Albuquerque NM Eglin AFB FL and a variety of CONUS and OCONUS locations. In support of the DTRA IT Systems Administration Group the candidate will support multiple computer networks at various levels of security classification.
