Position Overview
The Dishwasher is essential to our kitchen operations maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards that allow our culinary team to execute our MediterraneanmeetsCalifornia coastal cuisine. This position requires a detailoriented individual committed to cleanliness and organization.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain dish washing equipment
- Clean and sanitize all dishes glassware utensils and kitchen equipment
- Stock clean items in appropriate areas
- Maintain cleanliness of dish area and kitchen floors
- Assist with basic food prep as needed
- Support kitchen cleaning projects
- Handle waste disposal and recycling
- Maintain chemical inventory levels
Required Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Food Handlers certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years or older
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Tolerance for hot wet working conditions
- Manual dexterity for handling dishes and equipment
- Ability to bend and reach frequently
Schedule
- Fulltime and parttime positions available
- Early morning and evening shifts available
- Weekend availability required
