Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for you to enhance your career in Sales Science Analytics contributing to innovative banking solutions.
As a Quant Analytics Associate at JPMorgan Chase within the Data and Analytics team you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leverage a wide range of analytical tools and techniques to solve business problems with the objective to optimize banker performance and behavior.
- Use advanced quantitative techniques on large datasets to identify trends and patterns and derive actionable insights.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify anomalies trends and patterns and come up with strategic recommendations.
- Effectively communicate with project team members and sponsors throughout the project lifecycle (status updates gaps/risks roadblocks findings etc..
- Develop visualizations and presentations to summarize and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in a quantitative discipline such as business finance economics engineering statistics information systems or mathematics.
- Minimum of 4 years of handson experience and expertise in SQL Python/R and Alteryx.
- Experience with customer segmentation profiling clustering analysis inferential statistics data mining and experimental design techniques.
- Experience in wrangling large complex datasets with strong database skills and the ability to write optimize and tune complex SQL scripts.
- Experience delivering analytics solutions under strict timelines.
- Strong problemsolving mindset and ability to think both independently and collaboratively to implement creative solutions that solve business problems with attention to detail.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical details observations and inferences into business language.
