We are looking for inspirational Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners to join ournursery at Cold Harbour Bletchley Milton Keynes

Our day nursery is adjoined to an outdoor learning centre that builds on our popular Forest School provision and reputation for Forest School training.One of our key priorities is outdoor play and learning which is clearly evident at Cold Harbour where the outdoor environment and play area are available to the children all day every day.

If you are offered a EYProle before theend of May you will receive a 300 recruitment bonus after successfully completing your 3 month probation period.

The role needs to cover 40 hours per week but if you arent able to work the full time hours still get in touch as we may be able to offer job sharing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children aged insert age group e.g. 05 years.
  • Promote the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care.
  • Encourage children to explore and develop their skills through play and structured learning activities.
  • Observe and monitor childrens development and contribute to progress reports.
  • Build positive relationships with children parents and colleagues.
  • Ensure a clean safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Support the implementation of safeguarding and health & safety policies.

Key Requirements:

  • Level3 Early Years qualification (e.g. NVQ CACHE or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working with children in an early years setting.
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • A passionate and caring attitude toward childrens development.
  • Ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable:

  • First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of child safeguarding practices
