Job Type Description
Berkeley County Schools seeks qualified applicants for a MultiCategorical Special Education Teacher. The successful applicant will provide instruction and related services as identified on IEPs to students with varying disabilities in grades 68; ensure all procedural safeguards are followed; provide appropriate instruction to assist IEP students in reaching goals; establishing and following behavior management plans and performing other duties and responsiblities as assigned.
Salary Schedule
Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience. 200day employment term.
Specialized Skills
A minimum of a Bachelors degree and hold or be eligible for West Virginia licensure with endorsement(s) in Multicategorical Special Education with appropriate grade levels.
ABA trained is preferred but the successful applicant will be provided ABA training if needed.
Additional Job Information
If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position then an applicant who is eligible for a firstclass permit alternative certification TeacherinResidence or a perm sub can be considered.
