Job Description

Description

We are seeking a detailoriented and missiondriven Business Administrator to support our Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) programs. This position plays a key role in developing and managing budgets forecasts and financial reports to ensure efficient of sUAS development sustainment and operational efforts.

You will work closely with project managers engineering leads and procurement specialists to provide financial insights that drive strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fastpaced defensefocused environment and has a passion for enabling mission success through precise financial oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative responsibilities including facilities logistics and daytoday activities for large and/or complex programs organizations or proposals.
  • Develop monitor and update budgets and financial plans for multiple sUAS project lines.
  • Track and analyze expenditures obligations and variances against planned budgets.
  • Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for both internal leadership and government stakeholders.
  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM) cost estimating relationships (CERs) and lifecycle cost models as required.
  • Interface with Contracts and Program Management teams to ensure accurate funding alignment and forecasting.
  • Conduct financial risk analysis and support mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in proposal pricing budget narratives and cost volume development for new sUAS initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD financial regulations and reporting requirements.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • 5years of experience in financial analysis program control or budget management (DoD or aerospace/defense environment preferred).
  • Experience supporting government contracts and understanding of FAR/DFARS is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Active Secret Clearance is required to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior financial support to sUAS aerospace or defenserelated programs.
  • Familiarity with DoD Planning Programming Budgeting and (PPBE) process.
  • Experience with capital planning indirect cost allocations and funding types (e.g. RDT&E O&M Procurement).
