Job Description
EIFER seeks an IT Service Desk Employee (m/f/d) 1st Level Support.
The position is based in Karlsruhe with a duration of initially 2 years starting as soon as possible.
Founded by EDF and KIT in 2002 EIFER bridges science and industry providing innovative energysolutions for a sustainable future.
- OnSite Support: Direct assistance to employees onsite with IT issues related to computers peripherals and software.
- 1st Level Support: Initial receipt and handling of inquiries via phone email or ticketing system.
- Troubleshooting: Resolving basic technical issues in Microsoft environments particularly Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 (e.g. Teams Outlook OneDrive).
- Ticket Management: Documenting and tracking inquiries in the ticketing system and escalating more complex issues to 2nd Level Support.
- Modern Workplace: Supporting the use of modern workplace solutions includingMicrosoft 365 applications and cloud services.
- Completed IT education (e.g. IT specialist) or comparable practical experience.
- Initial professional experience in IT support ideally in 1st Level or onsite support.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft environments particularly Windows and Microsoft 365.
- Fluent German and solid English skills (at least B2 level).
- Serviceoriented and friendly demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
