Job Description
The opportunity
As the Zero Harm Assurance Manager you will be at the forefront of elevating our health and safety practices across all Lines of Business. Youll focus on:
- Spearheading the integration of Downer Zero Harm Standards and Processes.
- Establishing robust governance frameworks and audit programs including OFSC and external accreditations.
- Leading Zero Harm improvement projects and programs.
- Driving innovation in health and safety practices.
Please note we are open to candidates located in Melbourne Sydney or Brisbane and willing totravel as per business requirements.
What youll do
- Develop and implement Zero Harm improvement programs.
- Lead assurance activities and provide coaching to operational teams.
- Facilitate problemsolving workshops with stakeholders to define business needs and solutions.
- Support the integration of The Downer Standards across Lines of Business.
- Explore and apply new technologies to enhance safety practices.

What were looking for
- Tertiary qualifications in business Workplace Health & Safety or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Quality Health Safety Environment professional.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence change.
- Experience with external WHS certification and accreditation requirements including OFSC.
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office and PowerBI.
