Job Description
Qualifications:
- High school graduate/GED and/or completion of a vocational course or any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
- 5 years of experience in one or more specific trades (i.e. electrical/HVAC).
- A journeymans license for trade designation from the Commonwealth of Virginia required. A master license for trade designation from the Commonwealth of Virginia preferred
- Excellent knowledge of standard practices and terminology within the trades of electrical/HVAC; skill in the use of appropriate tools; ability to follow verbal and written instructions; ability to work independently and give leadership to other employees; dependable and thorough with all responsibilities.
Facilities Maintenance Salary Scale GradeC9 (credit is based on years of fulltime experience in a related position)
Assignment:
Full time / 12 months / 245 days
Start Date:
This position is effectivefor theremainderof theschool year. Applicants eligible for theschool year will also be considered.
