Job Description

POSITION TITLE:

Summer Student Workers Curriculum & Instruction

DEPARTMENT:Instruction

REPORTS TO:

Curriculum Coordinators

POSITION SUMMARY: This position assists the Curriculum & Instruction Department in day to day operations. This position assists with inventory control shipping & receving and other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Professionally handle curricular materials including unboxing packing relocating inspecting and stocking
  • Assist with classroom lab and event setups as needed
  • Maintains strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders consistently maintaining a courteous professional and effective manner
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Education and Experience: Must be enrolled at a Confluence Academies high school for theschool year and qualify as a junior or senior based on credit hours passed.

Language Skills: Ability to read and analyze and interpret technical procedures and instructions. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages other basic math functions.

Technology Abilities: Ability to understand and operate technology in an instructional setting while using a variety of standardized methods.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and depth perception. The employee must be able to hear and determine where noises are coming from.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Building supervision often requires the employee to be outside in all sorts of weather or conditions. The noise level in this environment is quiet to loud depending upon the activity in the particular part of the day and location.
