QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold New York State certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Teacher of the Speech and Language Disabled with abilingual extension.Candidates are required to attach a PDF or a screenshot of their certifications. New York State Licensure and Registration as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence are preferred. Candidates must knowMedicaid Regulations ASHA Scope and Practice of SpeechLanguage Pathology and Federal and State Regulations on Speech Pathology.
DUTIES:
APPOINTMENT:
The Board of Education will make the appointment upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following the assessment of training experience certifications credentials and service evaluation. Personal interviews will be scheduled where appropriate.
