TITLE:Cafeteria Assistant Cook/Baker
TYPE OF POSITION:Parttime 6.5 hours/day 32.5 hours/week); anticipated immediate start; salary per collective bargaining agreement (range $17.78$20.73/hour) commensurate with experience
LOCATION: HighSchool Hopkinton Massachusetts
AREA OF CONSIDERATION:All qualified candidates
The Cafeteria Assistant Cook/Baker assists in the preparation presentation and cleanup of school meals.
DUTIES:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- To prepare and serve food to students and staff according to instructions;
- To act as cashier;
- To clean any area of kitchen according to sanitary regulations;
- To store all food properly;
- To follow all safety instructions when using equipment;
- To act as backup for the Cafeteria Manager as needed;
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered qualified for the position ofCafeteria Assistant Cook/Baker candidates must have/be:
- High school graduate or GED preferred;
- Ability to read basic operating and use instructions;
- Ability to give and receive instructions and information;
- Basic knowledge of food service and sanitation practices;
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Food Service Director or Superintendent may find appropriate.
