Job Description
Must have blood bankexperience.
Shift: nights/evenings Friday and Saturday nights 11pm7:30am and 3 evening shifts 2pm10:30pm
Willing to do 4 10s with 2 of them including the Friday and Saturday night shift
40hrs.
One 1 year experience working in a clinicallaboratory.
The candidate has to be competent in all areas as this is a one person shift on Fri/Sat and may be needed to shift to assist other night shifts as needed to cover PTO or sick calls.
NYS Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist required.
ASCP Specialty Certification preferred
Bachelors degree in clinical laboratory technologyor equivalent. (Grandfathered NYS Licensed CLT)
In the Laboratory under limited supervision performs routine and specialized tests in assigned laboratory sections in a timely manner monitors lab processes and verifies results. May in the absence of the supervisor direct daily activities of his/her section according to UHS Laboratory and Departmental Policies and Procedures NYSDOH CDC and UHS Infection Control Policies and Procedures.
