The Opportunity

As a Principal Product Marketing Manager for the Customer Journey Management team you will work with crossfunctional teams including product management sales regional and global marketing engineering customer success finance and business development to drive product marketing activities critical for retaining and growing market share for B2C Customer Journeys portfolio in the Japan & Asia Pacific (JAPAC) region. Work in a collaborative manner with the global product marketing teams as well as regional product marketers representing other parts of the Adobe Experience Cloud portfolio.

You will lead efforts to define gotomarket strategies for the Customer Journeys portfolio that drive new customer growth as well as retention and expansion within the existing install base of Adobe Journey Optimizer Adobe Campaign and Adobe Target accounts. You will help Adobe customers drive personalisation at scale for their consumers with a market leading customer engagement platform that supports both brandinitiated campaigns as well as customer initiated individualised journeys across inbound and outbound channels of engagement. You will actively participate in the strategic development and of product gotomarket as well as marketing programs to enable effective selling align product positioning with industry trends and product advancements and increase brand and product awareness through thought leadership activities. You seek opportunities to be strategic produce results and receive recognition for outstanding work.

What youll Do

  • Develop lead & implement Adobes B2C Customer Journeys portfolio gotomarket strategies in JAPAC
  • Critically evaluate new growth opportunities for the Adobe Journey Optimizer business in APAC.
  • Play a significant part in regionalising messaging offerings product collateral and assets to communicate the value of Adobe Journey Optimizer Adobe Campaign and Adobe Target.
  • Lead regional product & major feature launches & field acceptance for JAPAC.
  • Work closely with Adobes Regional and Global Marketing organisation to develop strategic programs that drive demand and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with PR AR corporate marketing and events teams on product launches and partner integration activities to drive regional awareness and demand.
  • Broaden Adobes position as an industry leader with vision through the creation of white papers blog posts and articles.
  • Work with business development and product management to influence product developments and integrations based on changing market dynamics and emerging opportunities.
  • Present thought leadership use cases customer stories and value propositions of the Customer Journeys portfolio at industry events conferences and analyst and media briefings
  • Serve as marketfacing subject matter authority for the product and engage with key customers as company representative

Requirements

  • BS/BA (MBA preferred) with 15 years of overall experience having 8 years of relevant B2B SaaS Product Marketing experience ideally in the customer engagement experimentation omnichannel marketing email or mobile engagement space.
  • Experience Co/Owning a sales target and implementing tactics at all sales stages to drive pipeline & achieve new bookings targets as well as drive retention in existing install base accounts.
  • Data driven with a strong test and learn demeanor and ability to think out of the box
  • Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and the ability to stay current on the changing market
  • Proficient in market research and how to apply research and data to inform marketing strategies
  • Shown success in dynamic and highly matrixed environments
  • Strong experience leading crossfunctional multidisciplinary teams to launch highimpact business initiatives
  • Strong ability to frame issues drive appropriate analyses and make clear impactful recommendations
  • Outstanding analytical verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent program management skills
  • Highly collaborative work style
  • Global cultural awareness and experience with global teams
  • Ability to travel regularly in APAC and occasionally to the US (United States)
  • Multiple regional Asian languages an advantage
