Full job description

We are looking for an experiencedCNAto care for patients postoperatively in our Inpatient area.This is a Full Time position 3 days per week 6:30a 6:00p.The ideal candidate is comfortable working with orthopedic neurosurgery (adult and some pediatric) and ENT patients.

Pay range starts at $16.54 and is built based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Deliver the highest quality nursing care in a nonjudgmental and nondiscriminating manner sensitive to patient needs
• Contribute to the teamoriented environment by demonstrating cooperative constructive problemsolving interaction with coworkers
• Assist patients with ADLs transport from surgery to inpatient unit
• Take postop vitals measure intake/output and enter into Cerner
• Assist patients with discharge from the hospital
• Work closely with Registered Nurses

Requirements:

• Current certification as a CNA in the State of Nebraska
• Current BLS certification
• At least one to two years of med/surg intensive care or other CNA experience in the last 35 years
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently push/pull up to 25 lbs frequently; frequent standing bending stooping and repetitive motion to hands/wrists
