Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document vital signs.
- Draw blood samples for laboratory analysis.
- Administer ECG tests accurately to monitor heart activity.
- Provide basic life support and manage emergency situations.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Educate patients about their treatment plans and health practices.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records in electronic systems.
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed.
- Monitor patients conditions and report any changes to the medical team.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
- Engage in community health initiatives and outreach programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing).
- Current nursing license valid in the region.
- Proven experience drawing blood and conducting ECGs.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hospital management software and basic computer applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient care and improving patient outcomes.
- Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
