Job Description
Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer to join their team in Durban KwaZuluNatal. As the Lead Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects and the efficient operation of engineering processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of engineers providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to meet project goals and deadlines
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive product development and innovation
- Conduct risk assessments and quality control to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Analyse data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimisation
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on engineering projects and initiatives
- Stay uptodate on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering team
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive results and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
- Thorough knowledge of engineering principles techniques and tools
