Job Description

This is a fulltime permanent position.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Community Learning and Libraries Technology Team as our Community Technology Support Officer.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Deliver highquality customer service across libraries and community centres ensuring inclusive and effective support.
  • Provide technology troubleshooting and advice for customers and staff resolving or escalating issues as needed.
  • Support the delivery of programs and digital literacy initiatives helping community members build skills and confidence.
  • Create and maintain documentation including guides training materials and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage data and administration tasks ensuring accurate records compliance and support for tech projects.
  • Contribute to tech operations and projects including implementation coordination and collaboration across sites.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Strong customer service skills with experience supporting diverse community members in a welcoming and inclusive manner.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technology issues including both hardware and software with confidence and clarity.
  • Experience delivering or supporting programs particularly those focused on digital literacy or community engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create guides deliver training and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Attention to detail in managing data and administration ensuring accuracy privacy compliance and effective reporting.
  • Flexibility and adaptability including the ability to work across multiple sites handle evolving technologies and take initiative on projects.

This is a Level 3 position which has a current salary range of $85842 $92318 per annum (plus Superannuation).
