Position Overview

Were seeking a resultsoriented National Accounts Manager with a strong background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) to manage and grow relationships with key national accounts primarily grocery such as Kroger Sams Club and Costco. This role will work closely with brokers and distributors manage trade show engagements and lead the charge on account growth merchandising strategy and product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Growth

  • Maintain and grow an existing book of national accounts with a focus on revenue and margin improvement
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decisionmakers at brokers distributors and retail partners
  • Uncover and respond to client needs through proactive solutionsoriented communication
  • Develop and execute customerspecific business plans and promotional strategies

Sales Strategy &

  • Collaborate with leadership to define and implement channelspecific gotomarket strategies
  • Leverage sales data to create compelling insightdriven selling stories
  • Identify opportunities and challenges within accounts and tailor approaches to maximize performance
  • Forecast sales and contribute to overall planning and budgeting efforts

Product Innovation & Merchandising

  • Partner with product and marketing teams to bring new items packaging and promotional concepts to market
  • Lead new item launch planning and for assigned channels
  • Provide input on market trends packaging formats and merchandising needs

Trade Shows & Industry Engagement

  • Represent the brand at relevant trade shows industry events and customer meetings
  • Manage trade show lead followup and convert leads into meaningful business opportunities
  • Assist in the planning and of internal sales meetings

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience managing key accounts in the CPG industry
  • Proven success working with large national retailers and distributors
  • Strong understanding of broker partnerships and distribution networks
  • Proficient in sales analytics and forecasting tools
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field
  • Experience in the confectionery snack or grocery category
  • Background in product innovation and category management
  • Trade show management experience
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable in a growing evolving organization

Location & Schedule

The role is hybrid onsite in our Denver office three days per week with travel required for key account meetings and trade shows
