Job Description

Jr. Clerk (Calendar Year)

Responsibilities:

Ability to relate to students parents staff and community
Selfmotivated and flexible; must show demonstrated ability to set priorities and work with limited supervision
Capable of handling multiple tasks and paying attention to detail
Computer literacy essential with various programs ASPEN Word and Excel AESOP
Processing of student records meeting Federal and State Special Education Laws
Additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

CIVIL SERVICE POSITION REQUIRES NEW BEDFORD RESIDENCY

Terms of Employment:

Reports to: School Principal or Designee
Hours: 7:30am 3:00pm
Dates of assignment: Immediately end of School yearand August 25 2025 October 16 2025
Rate: In accordance with the AFSCME contract found here
