What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst for an initial 3 month contract with strong potential to extend. Hybrid model 12 days per week in the Sydney office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse interpret and transform complex datasets from multiple systems to support project objectives.
- Collaborate with data engineers business analysts and domain experts to ensure data quality accuracy and alignment with business needs.
- Support the development and refinement of data models and metrics used for performance reporting and strategic insights.
- Document data sources assumptions and methodologies to ensure transparency and reusability.
- Provide input into data governance metadata and lineage tracking efforts as needed.
- Assist in stakeholder workshops and engagement sessions to clarify data requirements and validate outputs.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in endtoend analytics including profiling cleansing linkage and metric development.
- Strong skills in analytical process design particularly for scalable repeatable insights delivery.
- Ability to interpret data and develop meaningful actionable insights.
- Proficiency inSQL Python and Rfor data preparation and transformation.
- Familiarity with data sharing modelling and transformation techniques beyond frontend BI tools.
- Experience working withPower BIto support and enhance dashboard capabilities.
- Strong data storytelling skills with a focus on business impact.
