Position Overview:
The CTE Intern at Salem High School will play a vital role in supporting the Career and Technical Education department and instructors within their classrooms. The selected candidate will actively contribute to enhancing the educational experience by assisting with technologyrelated tasks programming and web development initiatives. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in CTE while helping to empower students and instructors in their learning endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Collaborate with CTE instructors to provide technical support during classroom activities ensuring that technology resources are functioning smoothly.
- Programming Assistance: Assist in programmingrelated tasks including coding assignments software development projects and troubleshooting programming challenges.
- Web Development: Contribute to web development projects within the CTE department working on websites web applications and online resources.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during CTE classes ensuring minimal disruption to the learning process.
- Resource Development: Assist in the creation of educational materials and resources including online content and digital tools to support CTE curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant program related to IT Computer Science Web Development or a related field.
- Demonstrates a strong interest in programming web development and technology.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages and web development technologies.
- Basic knowledge of hardware software and operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Detailoriented and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
