Lead AI Engineer in Human Health

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead AI Engineer to spearhead our research initiatives in the application of artificial intelligence to human health. Key Responsibilities:

1. Research Leadership:

Lead and oversee AI research projects focused on human health from conceptualization to .

Develop and implement a strategic research roadmap that aligns with the organizations goals and objectives.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and healthcare to inform research directions and methodologies.

2. Project Management:

Manage multiple research projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery of highquality results.

Allocate resources effectively including personnel budget and technology.

Ensure adherence to regulatory and ethical standards in all research activities.

3. Team Development:

Recruit mentor and lead a team of AI researchers data scientists and healthcare professionals.

Foster a collaborative and innovative research environment.

Provide training and development opportunities to team members.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including clinicians biologists data engineers and software developers.

Establish partnerships with academic institutions industry leaders and research organizations.

Communicate research findings and progress to stakeholders through presentations reports and publications.

5. AI Model Development and Deployment:

Design develop and validate AI models for applications in disease prediction diagnosis treatment optimization and personalized medicine.

Ensure robustness scalability and realworld applicability of AI solutions.

Oversee the integration of AI models into clinical workflows and healthcare systems.

6. Data Management:

Oversee the collection management and analysis of largescale health data.

Ensure data privacy security and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. HIPAA GDPR).

Develop and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines for efficient data processing.

7. Publication and Dissemination:

Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at leading conferences.

Required Qualifications:

Education: PhD in Computer Science AI Machine Learning Biomedical Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 57 years of postdoctoral experience in AI research with a focus on healthcare applications.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or Java.

Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch).

Strong understanding of healthcare data types and standards (e.g. EHR genomic data HL7 FHIR).

Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing research teams.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of publications and presentations.
