JOB SUMMARY
This position develops and implements methods and procedures for process control process improvement testing and inspection to ensure that products are free of flaws and function as designed. Reviews warranty related customer feedback to help complete optimal corrective actions and collects rootcause related data as input to the improvement process. Works closely with engineering manufacturing and sourcing to ensure quality on new products and to develop and implement design for manufacturability improvements. Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs.
