SUMMARY: The Guest Office Support will assist in various CLS departments as needed. Duties may include fielding telephone calls receiving and directing visitors word processing creating spreadsheets filing and record keeping.
ABOUT CHIEF LESCHI SCHOOLS: Formerly known as the Puyallup Tribal School Chief Leschi Schools was founded in 1976 to address the high dropout rate of the youth of the Puyallup tribe. It is the largest of seven tribal schools in the state of Washington and one of approximately 200 tribal schools in the United States. It is also one of the largest tribal schools to be funded by the Bureau of Indian Education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school graduation or General Education Diploma (GED)
Two years in an office/education environment
Proficient in business office neat organized punctual attendance and welcoming to the public
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:
Successful criminal background clearance
Successful and/or clear drug screening
KNOWLEDGE OF:
Ability to organize facts and present them in a clear concise and logical manner both
verbally and in written form.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
ABILITY TO:
Take initiative and work independently
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups in a multicultural and diverse community
Work collaboratively with school and central office administrators parents and community members
Demonstrate understanding of and experience with cultural competence
Ability to meet given timelines for school state and BIE reporting requirements
Ability to receive and respond to written and verbal directions
Ability to operate various types of office equipment
Ability to organize facts and present them in a clear and concise manner both orally and written
Comply with school board policies and follow administrative procedures

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Anything over the weight limits should be done as a twoperson lift or with a mechanical lift.
