This is a nonbenefited parttime seasonal position for the 2025 summer. This is a MondaythroughThursday program running from July 7 2025 to August 7 2025Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Assistant to support individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders through the implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) during our extended year program. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs based on ABA principles.Work directly with children and adults with autism or other developmental disorders to promote the development of functional skills (e.g. communication social skills selfcare).Implement positive behavior support strategies to decrease challenging behaviors and encourage adaptive behaviors.Collect data on student progress behavior frequency and other relevant metrics to help monitor the effectiveness of interventions.Provide reinforcement and encouragement to individuals during sessions to motivate learning and progress.Support students in developing communication skills including the use of verbal communication augmentative communication devices or sign language.Foster a positive and supportive environment for individuals to thrive and learn.Additional Information:
