Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Accountant to join our team at Fast Transport Carrier Pvt. Ltd. This is a fulltime midlevel position based in Pune Division requiring a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting and auditing as well as proficiency in Excel.
Qualifications and Skills
- Financial reporting expertise with a proven track record (Mandatory skill)
- Strong auditing skills with attention to detail (Mandatory skill)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Mandatory skill)
- Experience with tax preparation including filing and compliance with regulations
- Proven budgeting abilities to manage and forecast expenses
- Competence in account reconciliation ensuring accurate financial records
- Strong financial analysis skills to interpret complex financial data
- Understanding and application of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal regulations
- Conduct regular audits to verify the financial status and operational
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits
- Manage tax compliance including preparation and filing of tax returns
- Support monthly quarterly and annual closing activities
