Junior Property Accountant North Vancouver $55K $60K Bonus RRSP Match
We re hiring a Junior Property Accountant for a reputable property management company based in North Vancouver. About the Role:
Reporting to the Controller you ll be responsible for full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial retail and industrial properties. You ll also play a key role in supporting property managers and senior leadership with accurate financial reporting and insights to help maximize property performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly financial statements and journal entries
Complete bank reconciliations and apply rent receipts
Review and post rent rolls and update PADs
Reconcile tenant accounts and process chargebacks
Assist with budgeting variance reporting and year-end reconciliations
Maintain accurate GLs and ensure compliance with accounting standards
What You Bring:
1 2 years of property accounting or related experience
Post-secondary education in accounting or finance
Experience with Yardi Breeze and/or Spectra is a strong asset
Solid Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Strong attention to detail communication and time management
A positive professional attitude and willingness to learn
