Company Accountant
Our client is seeking a dedicated accounting professional to work in their organisation based in the
western suburbs.
The Opportunity
As the Company Accountant you will play an integral part in the organisation ensuring the efficient
operation and strategic oversight of financial HR and administrative functions. This hands-on role offers
variety and challenge supporting the CEO and senior management team while driving financial
performance.
The Tasks Ahead
Financial Oversight
- Maintain controls over bank accounts suppliers clients payroll and general ledger reconciliations
- Conduct and report on variance analyses
- Prepare quarterly consolidated management financial board reports
- Manage treasury activities
- Prepare BAS PAYG FBT Payroll Tax returns and insurance-related documentation
- Ensure compliance with ASIC forms and reporting requirements
- Draft memos board papers and other required documents
- Perform due diligence on investment opportunities
- Manage travel and expense claims cash and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare statutory reports on revenues and expenditures
- Project reconciliations and cost management
- Preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts reporting on variances
- Provide financial modelling and analysis
Human Resources Coordination
- Oversee HR processes including payroll and recruitment
- Provide support in administering HR policies
Administrative Management
- Manage office operations and ensure document management compliance
- Support contract negotiations
- MYOB and Xero administration

Key Requirements:
- Relevant Accounting/Finance qualification or (CA or CPA)
- Proven experience in budgeting reporting compliance and financial controls
- Strong knowledge of ASIC standards
- Experience in HR and payroll functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite MYOB and Xero software experience
- Excellent interpersonal organisational and time-management skills
- Willingness to travel to regional offices if required
- Must be hands-on
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Current Police Clearance
