Job Description
With a reputation for excellence we are seeking a highly skilled Bids and Tenders Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects playing a crucial role in securing new business by developing highquality and technically sound bids and tenders for electrical systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare technical responses for electrical engineering bids and tenders.
- Review client specifications and requirements to ensure comprehensive and compliant submissions.
- Liaise with Project Managers Architects and other Engineers to gather the necessary technical data for bids.
- Perform cost estimations and help prepare pricing for projects.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential issues in tender documents.
- Stay updated on industry trends regulations and standards.
- Ensure the timely submission of bids within deadlines.
- Assist with postbid clarification and negotiations with clients.
- Work closely with the procurement team to manage supplier quotes and materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in electrical engineering with a focus on bidding and tendering processes.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems designs and cost estimation.
- Familiarity with industry standards regulations and tendering processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
