Description

Subject Matter Expertise in Tooling & Fixture Design Engineer for Body Paint and Final Assembly.



Responsibilities
  • SME in Tooling and Fixture design using NX CAD in the following functions.
    • Body Shop : Tooling & Fixture Design
    • Paint Eng. : Slave tools and hand tools
    • Final Assembly : Assembly fixtures lifters hand tools etc
  • Must have Body Shop/Final Assembly manufacturing end to end process flow and knowledge
  • Should have knowledge on NAAMS standard to use fixture design principle locating points strategy GD&T weld studies etc.
  • Hands on skills Expressions Part families Product template studio Creation of 2D templates.
  • NX Open API Coding and parametric automation knowledge added advantage
  • Develop and release standards (Methods and Work instructions)
  • Design / Application released issues analysis and fix provided on time
  • Periodic UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for new version of NX/Tce release
  • Collaborative work with Internal and external suppliers on Automation projects to optimize the design process.
  • Build strong relationship with Ford Global SMEs and suppliers


Qualifications

Education Qualification : B.E/B. Tech

Number of Years of Experience : 7 to 10 Years

  • Must have NX Solid modeling on Tooling & fixture design
  • Should have basic knowledge of FIDES based tooling & fixture design
  • Exposure to CAD tools such as Catia Team Center Team Center Vis mockup Process Simulate and willing to learn further on virtual manufacturing tools.
  • Candidate should be flexible to work in shift if necessary
  • Excellent Communication analytical & Interpersonal skills ability to plan organize and implement multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Candidate should be flexible to participate tool test at GTBC campus.
