General Overview
TheClinician Team Project Manager is responsible for managing important clinicalinitiatives for the Partners eCare/Epic program a fastpaced ambitious initiative to develop andimplement an integrated electronic health information system at all thePartners HealthCare hospitals and provider organizations. This includesplaying a leadership role in prioritizing planning and executing projects;this work includes group facilitation analysis development maintenance andtracking for Partners eCare. Theproject managers portfolio will include critical projects with the quality andsafety and/or process redesign spaces as well as other areas of strategicimportance for Partners eCare. The Project Manager works collaboratively withthe various components of the PeC Clinician Team and with the PeC programoverall. This work will includethe analysis of complex clinical workflows across the Partners enterprise andhelping to translate solutions into Partners eCare/Epic.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Plays leadership role in managing projects through prioritization and governance processes
Creates robust project plans for a portfolio of key initiatives
Manages facilitates and leads project teams and working groups through the life cycle of the projects
Works collaboratively with all members of the Partners eCare Clinician Team including areas of clinical content clinical informatics and clinical decision support clinical device integration and quality and safety.
Serves as liaison to other Partners eCare project teams such as training reporting organizational readiness clinical compliance billing compliance HIM and others as appropriate.
Responsible for navigating projects through appropriate leadership and Partners eCare decision making
Identifies change management and communication needs to support the implementation of clinical improvements
Tracks and resolves issues and identifies assesses and minimizes risks to achieve successful project completion.
Participates in multiple projects and project teams simultaneously.
Assigns tasks and responsibilities to project team members and manages internal and external expectations.

Other responsibilities as determined by the Clinician Team Director Associate Director and Administrative Director.
Bachelors degree required; masters degree and PMP or other PM certification preferred
Minimum of five years of experience with project management performance improvement and/ or change management
Experience in a hospital/ health care system environment is preferred
Experience participating in multiple large projects and project teams
Experience managing projects using standard project management methodologies and tools
Experience with facilitating committees and change management activities

Excellent knowledge of clinical operations and related business processes
Excellent knowledge of clinical care processes across disciplines and across the care continuum

Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
Excellent organizational skills; detailoriented and efficient
Proficient with standard office technologies and software
Understanding of clinical information systems (Epic experience helpful)
Ability to work within a complex multisite environment
Ability to handle stressful situations in calm and professional manner
Ability to manage competing priorities

Working Conditions
General day hours with flexibility to meet the demands of the position
Standard business environment with some local travel between Partners Healthcare System sites
May require travel for external training
