Staff Nurse opportunity on this patient and family centered Cardiac ICU a 16 bed adult unit serving critically ill cardiac ICU patients. Join a culture where staff nurses are supported with evidence based cardiac nursing practice and nursing research that is embraced. The most common diagnoses and/or interventions are: hemodynamic monitoring intraaortic balloon counterpulsation CVVH hypothermia after cardiac arrest recovery from coronary procedures recovery from acute myocardial infraction complicated by cardiogenic shock arrhythmias congestive heart failure respiratory failure and/or multiple organ dysfunction/failure. A multidisciplinary team approach is focused on the psychosocial and emotional support of the patients and their families. This is a day night rotating position.
