Were looking for a Homeless Prevention Specialist (PS4toprovide assistance with safe and stable housing for youth who are releasing to the community from a Juvenile Rehabilitation (JR) facility as well as those youth who are on parole supervision and find themselves homeless.
The opportunity:
You will work in partnership with committees projects and coalitions to implement administer and oversee the statewide implementation of homeless relief assistance funds to help address the complex problem of homelessness. You will work with community supports to establish transitional housing programs to ensure safe sustainable housing. Your work will help youth access resources to secure employment or subsidies necessary to sustain housing build independence and work toward selfsufficiency.

Required qualifications:
Bachelors degree in planning policy analysis business or related field.
AND
Two years of experience in a related field including planning policy analysis coordination and consultation with a variety of public and private agencies organizations and/or levels of government. Experience must include allocation of funds and contract negotiation.
OR
Four years of experience in a related field including planning policy analysis coordination and consultation with a variety of public and private agencies organizations and/or levels of government. Experience must include two years of allocation of funds and contract negotiation.
OR
Three years of experience that includes at least two years of allocation of funds AND contract negotiationAND at least one year of experience working with marginalized communities and/or those who are unhoused.
