Job Description
Forcura is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to help us improve and maintain software quality. Our ideal candidate has excellent detailed analytical skills and knows how to apply those skills to validate technical changes. The role also requires a candidate who is detailoriented thorough and has strong communication skills. This role will be responsible for conducting endtoend integration testing before product enhancements and changes are moved to production. The Senior Quality Assurance will work closely with Product Managers Product Delivery Managers and Engineering teams as well as serve as a resource for junior members of the team.
Job Duties
- Lead teams efforts including test planning test coordination defect management and reporting.
- Ability to engage/discuss with Architects/ Developers/Product to triage issues and identify solutions.
- Collaborate with Management to improve or develop processes within the QA team.
- Responsible for identifying goals for team members developing plans to achieve them and evaluating progress.
- Review business requirements and specifications to generate test scenarios.
- Design develop and execute manual and automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform front end and back end validation and thorough Regression testing on web and mobile applications.
- Communicate test progress test results and issues or roadblocks to project stakeholders and management.
- Explore opportunities for continuous improvement to product coverage.
- Effectively communicate test results and issues to technical and nontechnical team members.
- Participate in crossfunctional collaborative problemsolving sessions to help identify priority and impact of defects.
- Collaborate with Product Managers Product Delivery Manager and Engineering Teams.
- Provide leadership coaching and/or mentoring to junior members of the team.
- Stay current with QA processes and recommend improvements and/or enhancements of new testing techniques and testing tools.
- All other job related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 7 years of relevant quality engineering experience ideally in a SaaS organization.
- Ability to set priorities and multitask in a fastpaced Agile environment.
- SQL Database testing experience.
- Excellent communication skills critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Handson experience implementing or utilizing automated testing tools such as Selenium Appium Cucumber.
- Handson experience with at least one of the following automation frameworks Modulebased DataDriven Keyword Driven Behavior Driven.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience in API testing and working knowledge of tools such as Postman is a plus.
Work Environment
- This position reports into Forcuras Jacksonville FL office.
Physical Demands of Our Work Environment
- This position is in an office environment and uses a computer and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Frequent interruptions may be encountered throughout the workday.
