MIDDLE SCHOOL BIBLE TEACHER 202526
The Milwaukee Rescue Mission Cross Trainers Academy (CTA) is a K412th grade Christian Academy in the heart of Milwaukee serving students and families who are searching for a strong academic learning experience in a gospelcentered environment. As a Choice School CTA is committed to offering a comprehensive studentcentered educational experience that serves the whole student. Our express purpose is to provide atrisk children with the opportunity for an excellent Christianbased education that will equip them with academic social emotional and spiritual tools for life.
Cross Trainers Academy is seeking a Christcentered Middle School Bible Teacher for the 202526 school year. This position is responsible for strengthening students understanding of doctrinal and theological topics motivating and leading students to accept Gods gift of salvation helping them grow in their faith and leading them to a realization of their worth in Christ.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday 7:00am4:00pm & TuesdayFriday 7:00am3:00pm.

Cross Trainers Academy is seeking a Christcentered Middle School Bible Teacher for the 202526 school year. This position is responsible for strengthening students understanding of doctrinal and theological topics motivating and leading students to accept Gods gift of salvation helping them grow in their faith and leading them to a realization of their worth in Christ.

LOCATION: North Campus 1530 W Center Street Milwaukee WI. 53206
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bible Teacher 6th8th grade
- Implement curriculum and lesson plans from the old and new testaments in alignment with the Bible convictions and values of the Milwaukee Rescue Mission that will foster knowledge and skills essential to spiritual emotional and academic development
- Collaborate in the development and facilitation of weekly middle school Chapels and monthly schoolwide Chapel
- Focus on instruction and adolescent development at an ageappropriate level
- Consistently enforce schoolwide core values with an emphasis on academic development and Christlike characteristics
- Responsible for communicating and collaborating with parents and other staff members to ensure each scholar is making academic and social progress
- Engage students in the learning process and implement effective classroom management practices
- Attend and participate in scheduled devotionals staff inservice and faculty and parent meetings
- Maintain a neat and organized classroom environment as well as keep accurate records
- Fill in when needed for additional roles such as lunch recess or dismissal monitors
- Use technology as needed to fulfill use of the curriculum classroom projection system online gradebook and attendance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree required preferably in Theology or biblical studies
- Previous experience in middle school Bible teaching or experience and credentials in middle school age youth ministry required
- Teacher certification preferred but not initially required (we are a Milwaukee Choice school candidates have 3 years to complete this)
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse students and families
- Competent in the following platforms: PowerSchool Word Excel Outlook Gmail Google Drive Google Calendar
- Proven skills in leadership group facilitation communication and data collection
- A workplace demeanor consistent with a Christian school environment: civil respectful polite and responsive
- Be in agreement with and subscribe to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission Statement of Faith and the MRM Statement of Biblical Convictions
- Be a committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ which is evident in personal testimony and Christian conduct
- Pass a preemployment background check and drug test
PREFERRED:
- Background in youth ministry
- Experience in an urban teaching environment
- Track record of closing the achievement gap making gains greater than 1AYP
