Job Description

ICF seeks a RISE Intake Coordinator to work in the Disaster Management division. This fulltime position is for Los Angeles area residents in the United States. Travel required along with work from home with strong internet.

The RISE (Rebuilding Incentives for Sustainable Electric) Homes program is aimed at assisting homeowners affected by wildfires or natural disasters since 2017 with reconstructing allelectric homes. The RISE Home Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing applications for eligibility with program requirements assisting/entering applications for the program and promoting the use of electricpowered technologies and appliances. The RISE Home Agent will work closely with disaster impacted community members home builders and manufacturers and statewide stakeholders to facilitate the reconstruction of all electric homes and the adoption of energyefficient solutions that align with environmental and program goals.

Compensation: While the range below is broader this position will offer a salary range in the 65K to 75K range based upon match to job description location etc. as determined by the hiring team. Higher education and experience will not change this salary range.

Key Responsibilities:
Expected to do outreach travel to recovery centers client sites and events from their California permanent ICF approved residential location.
Expected to do outreach via California permanent ICF approved residential location workfromhome using strong internet connection.
Clearly communicate program benefits to applicants ensuring messaging aligns with program requirements.
Work as part of a team providing advisory services for the RISE Homes program.
Clearly
Manage the eligibility requirements process for participants applying to the RISE Homes program.
Work within the RISE Homes program system of record and ensure applications continue through the process in a timely manner.
Provide guidance and support to applicants regarding incentive opportunities and application processes.
Assist in the implementation of RISE Homes incentive programs for allelectric reconstruction.
Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes that may affect incentive program offerings by ensuring continual review of updated guidance and policies.
Ensure construction/reconstruction of eligible structures including singlefamily homes manufactured homes modular homes ADUs and multifamily buildings align with RISE Homes program eligibility requirements.
Collaborate with RISE team members for application review acceptance and incentive payment processes.

Please provide a concise resume indicating your qualifications skills and experience.

MUST HAVE Qualifications:
5 years of experience in case management social worker disaster assistance claims social services or similar intake work that includes facetoface onsite experience. (not call center). OR 5 years of experience working in customer service for a utility provider and/or dealing with rebate programs in the utility sector.
Able and willing to work in a dynamic environment both remotely and onsite deploying to recovery centers throughout California for up to four weeks at a time (deployments are contingent upon disaster events and RISE Agents are anticipated to deploy once or twice per year depending on number of events).
Able and willing to work a flexible schedule that can accommodate some evening or weekend work as may be required.
Must have a valid California drivers license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.

Preferred Experience: (may set candidates apart)
Customer service experience with a wide range of participants and organizations.
Previous experience supporting disaster recovery operations.
Experience of successfully assisting participants through disaster application processes.
Experience in energy efficiency rebate programs and technologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
Selfmotivated; ability to work independently and manage multiple applications simultaneously.
Excellent writing computer and presentation skills with experience writing technical information clearly and concisely.
Problemsolving capabilities and ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to unique circumstances.

Pay Range There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position including but not limited to relevant work experience skills certifications and competencies that align to the specified role geographic location education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
