About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Lead Water the Lead Hydrogeologist or Water Scientist (at EVR known as Lead Regional Water Monitoring) is responsible for planning supervising and implementing groundwater investigations to support mining operations and regional environmental performance and compliance.
To be successful we are looking for an individual with good leadership and communication skills strong analytical and decisionmaking abilities with a capacity for practical problemsolving. Strong multitasking teamwork and environmental project management experience skills are vital for success in this role. The successful candidate would also enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions as they perform a diverse range of field and office tasks.
This is an exciting opportunity to advance the objectives of the Elk Valley Water Quality Plan and ensure the health of the local watershed and inform some of the most advanced selenium and nitrate removal technology in the world!

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidates relevant experience skills and competencies and considers internal equity.
