Job Description:
We are looking for a Corporate Paralegal to support our Legal Department. We need someone who is incredibly detail oriented can successfully manage multiple projects on a timeline and work quickly and seamlessly across the team.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Draft and maintain corporate documents including board consents resolutions transactional closing packets nondisclosure agreements etc.
Coordinate contract approvals signatures and processes to ensure timely completion
Assist with formation and maintenance of corporate entities
Manage and track annual corporate obligations and filings
Provide organizational support to legal team on acquisitions contracts and correspondence
Coordinate communicate and collaborate within legal team and across all levels of internal stakeholders as needed
Qualifications (Required):
3 years of recent experience working as a paralegal or legal analyst in a corporate legal department commercial department of a law firm or an investment firm
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
Proven history of primary and autonomous experience drafting and maintaining corporate documents
Strong interpersonal skills; proactive communicator; positive attitude; and team player
Extremely detailoriented with strong organizational and timemanagement skills
Experience reviewing proofreading and redlining legal documents
A handson whatever it takes approach to solving problems
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
Desire to contribute to company growth and development outside of legal work
Qualifications (Preferred):
Paralegal certification or legal education
Private company experience
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
