Job Description
About the Role:
Lead the design development and deployment of innovative engineering solutions ensuring they meet operational quality safety and regulatory standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives optimizing equipment processes and systems to enhance performance and reliability.
Provide technical leadership and collaborate across functions to ensure successful project delivery and knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities may include:
- Lead the full lifecycle of engineering projects from concept development and design to commissioning and operational handoff ensuring alignment with safety quality and operational objectives.
- Ensure adherence to global safety standards (e.g. ISO OSHA) risk assessments and regulatory requirements during the design installation and operational phases of projects.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization focusing on reliability maintainability and productivity to reduce downtime and improve system performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert providing guidance on engineering best practices troubleshooting issues and mentoring junior engineers to foster technical growth and innovation.
- Partner with Operations IT Safety and other stakeholders to align project objectives address technical challenges and drive seamless integration across functions.
- Oversee supplier and contractor activities ensuring adherence to standards timelines and budget constraints during project .
- Develop training materials and upskill teams on new technologies systems and best practices ensuring proper documentation and operational handoff.
- System Integration & Interoperability Develop robust middleware solutions and standardized communication protocols to ensure seamless data exchange and integration across diverse automation systems.
- FutureForward Automation Design Engineer adaptable automation solutions that can scale with evolving technology fluctuating demand and increasing throughput requirements.
- Predictive Maintenance & Downtime Reduction Leverage predictive maintenance algorithms and realtime condition monitoring to proactively identify potential failures minimizing downtime and optimizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- DataDriven Optimization & AI Integration Support the development of cloudbased data analytics platforms utilizing AI/ML models to enhance operational efficiency track performance metrics and enable autonomous decisionmaking.
