As a Senior Analytics Engineer (m/f/d) at Finmatics you will help us build the next phase of our data foundation. You will be the person who brings structure and clarity to our data universe enabling the entire company to make better decisions. You will be joining a product-led team where your work directly shapes key decisions. We care deeply about building a modern scalable analytics stack -> and you will play a pivotal role in defining it.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a centralized data warehouse (e.g. BigQuery) as the single source of truth
- Integrate data from multiple sources including:
- Production databases (e.g. automation rates and product usage)
- Mixpanel (product analytics)
- CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce)
- Design and implement clean well-documented data models
- Create dashboards and reports using tools like Looker Studio or similar
- Partner with Product Sales and Marketing teams to translate business questions into data solutions
- Automate recurring data workflows and ensure data quality across sources
Required Qualification:
- 3 years of experience in data analytics analytics engineering or data engineering
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and scripting
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery Snowflake)
- Familiarity with BI tools like Looker Studio Metabase or Tableau
- Bonus: experience with dbt or similar data modeling tools
- Strong sense of ownership curiosity and motivation to turn data into impact
