Job Summary
As the Catering Director you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering and events ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. This role involves managing a dedicated team fostering client relationships and maintaining the highest standards of service and food quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination and of both internal and external catering events.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive catering marketing plan including event planning services and customized menu development.
- Hire train and schedule staff while continuously developing their skills in service techniques menu presentation and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Ensure the smooth operation of catering functions including managing labor and food costs preparation transportation event setup and postevent cleanup.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts (required).
- 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry including at least 2 years in a management role (preferably in Catering Management).
- Strong background in menu selection pricing contract negotiation and sourcing temporary staff and equipment.
- Proven ability to oversee food preparation service and event cleanup
