About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive techsavvy and detailoriented Sales Director to manage our deal pipeline and support CRM management. This is a hybrid role combining operational support with sales outreach.
The right candidate will have strong operational skills basic M&A knowledge and the ability to manage workflows and client data efficiently using CRM and AI tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage M&A deal pipeline 1015 hours per week)
- Conduct outreach to new and existing deal sources 2030 hours per week)
- Summarize new deal opportunities for internal review
- Match opportunities with appropriate buyers using internal technology
- Distribute deal summaries to qualified buyers
- Maintain and update our CRM system (Pipedrive) with buyer interactions and deal statuses
- Track and manage the stages of multiple active deals through a 9step CRM process
- Communicate regularly with buyers and sellers regarding deal progress
- Add at least 50 new contacts to CRM monthly (KPI)
- Assist with sellside deal management tasks as the role expands
- Introduce Dealgen to potential new deal sources to drive deal flow
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 2 years of experience in operations project coordination sales support or CRM management
- Strong technical aptitude; comfortable using CRM platforms (especially Pipedrive) and AI tools
- Highly organized detailoriented and selfmotivated
- Excellent communication outreach and summarization skills
- Basic understanding of M&A and finance concepts
- Previous experience in M&A private equity investment banking or related industries is a plus but not required
- Salesdriven personality with a passion for building and nurturing relationships
Growth Opportunity:
As we grow there is significant potential for this role to expand into broader responsibilities within sellside deal management. Additionally there may be future opportunities to participate in recruiting and building out a larger sales team offering strong career development potential.
Salary and Location:
- Estimated salary: $1500 to $3000
- Location: South Africa is the preferred hiring location
- Working hours: 9am to 5pm EST
- Independent contractor agreement paid 2x monthly.
- Client has a desire for long term commitment with increasing hours or personalize role placement (based on strengths long term interests and goals etc) of the individual.
