Job Summary:
The Griffin Facility is home to a diverse product portfolio where we assemble test and ship 3400V Engines Gensets and Power Modules. Our manufacturing environment is fast paced appropriately challenging and decision oriented. As the Senior Production Manager you will be responsible for a team of leaders who work diligently to meet our customer commitments. You will support the overall success of the facility through effective leadership continuous improvement and collaboration aligned with Our Values Vision and Goals and would be responsible for the operational goals of the Value Stream including People Quality Customer Commitment and Cost.
What you will do:
- Manage staffing development and performance management programs for operations staff; manage motivate and develop management team.
- Oversee operations activities ensuring that safety and schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively.
- Drive improvements for overall operations performance and implement production safety cost and quality control mechanisms.
- Ensure the compliance of all regulatory guidelines and forge a safe and sound manufacturing environment.
Top Candidates May Have:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience desired
- Knowledge of engine/ packaging assembly process
Skills You Will Have:
Quality Management: Extensive knowledge of quality management methods tools and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.
Planning and Organizing: Extensive knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Performance Management: Working knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organizations performance management system practices and tools to developing and improving individual team and organizational performance.
Manufacturing Operations: Extensive knowledge of manufacturing operations; ability to perform daytoday operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products.
Manufacturing Safety: Extensive knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify workrelated hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers environment and site.

Summary Pay Range:
