The Clinical Intern will report to the Clinical Director or Clinical Supervisor and is responsible for assisting with a wide range of projects including but not limited to providing clinical therapeutic and prevention services in an outpatient mental health office school community center and/or via telehealth.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Provides behavioral health assessments develops treatment plans and provides counseling to clients in an outpatient setting.
- Provides assistance with prevention programming which may include individual or group work.
- Participates in agency and community meetings as needed.
- Participates in community events as needed.
- Completes all paperwork required by the agency within designated time frames.
- Meets core social work counselor marriage & family competencies and adheres to regulations.
Requirements:
- Individual is required to have a Bachelors degree and is pursuing a Masters degree in an accredited program for Social Work Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Individual is required to have a trainee license or working towards licensure.
Schedule:MondayFriday with flexible scheduling that may include some evenings. Officebased work is required.
Pay: Paid at a rate of $15/hr.
