As an Distribution Center Team Member at MKS Instruments Arizona Distribution Center of Excellence you will partner with internal and external customers to provide world class distribution center centric support. In this role you will report to the Inbound Supervisor.
A Day in Your Life at MKS:
Responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping receiving storing and distributing of
materials parts supplies and equipment.
Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices maintains records of received goods rejecting unsatisfactory
items where necessary.
Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.
Travel Requirements: Up to 10 of Travel may be required.
Skills You Bring:
Ability to do shift work when directed.
Requires experience in shipping receiving and stores and reading writing and basic arithmetic skills.
1 years of related experience in a warehouse environment.
Completion of high school vocational training or equivalent is preferred.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
Perform activities such as sitting standing or typing for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below at and above shoulder level
Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
Operates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing/warehousing environment
Constantly operates a computer and other productivity machinery
Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware high voltage gas water and heat
