Job Description

Hire Resolves Client is urgently looking for an experienced Shaft Timberman to join their operations in the North West!

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies standards and procedures.
  • Plan allocate resources and manage repairs and breakdowns in accordance with operational and maintenance schedules.
  • Communicate operational updates to stakeholders to minimize delays in ore extraction and development progress.
  • Monitor material levels and ensure availability to meet operational needs.
  • Supervise teams ensure effective pipe and equipment installations and maintain open communication within the team.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Blasting Certificate for Underground Hard Rock
  • Onsetter Certificate
  • 3 years experience as an appointed Shaft Timberman experience at metalliferous mines in a Vertical Shaft
  • Vertical Shaft repair experience is essential
