Warehouse Operations Supervisor Lytton
The Role
Toll Group are looking for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our Resources and Industrials division based in Lytton this site is a major hazard facility. You will play an essential role in creating a highperforming positive and safetyobsessed team culture. As the Warehouse Operations Supervisor you will direct coordinate supervise and achieve service objectives regarding the storage and cartage of dangerous goods products.
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will ensure that tasks are completed in the most efficient manner with agreed standards in operational procedures including strong emphasis on safety requirements. Be responsible for the regular communications with all Toll stakeholders compliance and managing staff members to ensure business objectives are achieved in a safe and costeffective way.
Duties and Responsibilities / a day in the life of the Warehouse Operations Supervisor
Effective Management of Warehouse and Terminal Operations Teams ensuring KPIs are met and safety upheld.
Effective consultation and coordination with all stakeholders (Local and Interstate Transport and Customer Service) relating to effective service and delivery of all Toll Chemical Customer requirements.
Management of DG segregation and Compliance for Warehouse and Transport activities.
Compliance within Warehouse & Terminal for all required legislative requirements i.e. CoR Load Restraint DG storage & transport fatigue management.
Ensure that all equipment and ancillary equipment is in operating condition.
Actively participate in the rollout of toolbox meetings and other communications to workers and contractors.
What youll need to succeed
Supervisor experience in transport logistics or related industry.
Knowledge of relevant legislation regulations and codes of practice.
Ability to build and maintain engaged and productive teams.
Warehouse and / or Transport knowledge including Chain of Responsibility.
Proficient computer skills with good written and verbal communication skills.
